(MIDLAND, TX) — Tall City Blues Fest has announced it’s 2013 line-up. The Festival will be held in downtown Midland, Texas’s Centennial Plaza on July 26-27, 2013, and brings award-winning Blues performers to West Texas.
The Friday night headliner is Chris Duarte, followed by a finale performance from JT Coldfire from Austin, Texas. Saturday night, Zac Harmon will headline the Festival with a special guest performance by Mississippi Blues Child Castro Coleman, followed by a finale performance from Nick Moss.

“Of the 14 performers we’re showcasing this year, seven have competed at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis and four have been nominated for Blues Music Awards,” said Tall City Blues Fest Talent Buyer Ronn Reeger. “It’s very exciting to be able to bring this kind of talent to West Texas.”
On Friday, gates will open at 5 PM, and the first performer will take the Cimarex Energy Main Stage at 5:30 PM. On Saturday, the gates will open at 1 PM with the first performer taking the Riley Geological Main Stage at 2 PM. On Saturday, a third stage, the Ford Community Jam Stage, will host 15-minute Community Jam sessions alternating between the Main Stage performances, making Saturday a triple-stage format.
Friday Passes are $15; Saturday Passes are $25; Weekend Passes are $30. $20 Weekend Passes are available at the gate for students presenting a valid student ID.
Tall City Blues Fest, presented by Riley Geological Consultants, hosts its line-up across two Main Stages, and also offers an outdoor Community Jam, educational workshops, an art auction and memorabilia raffle, food vendors and a midnight spectator jam. In addition to bringing award-winning performers to West Texas, Tall City Blues Fest creates tourism, offers a culturally diverse attraction in West Texas and contributes positively to the quality of life.
