Providing African villages with permanent, sustainable advanced water and agricultural solutions
Water4Mercy Project Breaks Ground at Ndebwe Village in Dodoma, Tanzania
Ndebwe Village, located in Dodoma district, is a large village of more than 5,000 people and growing. To supply water for such a large community, 18 taps and two water tanks will be installed.
Many Africans are dying of thirst. 1.8 billion people are ‘surviving’ by drinking water contaminated with feces, and risk contracting cholera, dysentery and typhoid. The power of clean water will prevent disease and provide a means of breaking the cycle of poverty. Water is essential for human survival and agriculture will generate economic sustainability.
