Born in Japan and raised in the Philippines, singer-songwriter/guitarist DURAN started playing the piano at the age of three and picked up the guitar at 14 under the influence of his bassist father.
Regarded as a prodigy in the contemporary rock scene and recognized as one of Japan’s great guitarists, he arrests the attention of his audience with formidable fuzz and emotionally charged guitar playing/vocals.
In 2018, DURAN made his solo debut. In 2021 he released Kaleido Garden, followed by a successful tour, and in 2023 he released Electric Man. Listen to “Jojo’s Echo Blues,” the lead single from the upcoming album 30 Scratchy Backroad Blues slated for February 21, 2024.
