Stud Ford, the grandson of the legendary T-Model Ford, and Will Coppage, a seasoned artist and songwriter, have officially unleashed their highly anticipated debut EP, Ain’t No Love, now available on all major streaming platforms.
Drawing from Stud Ford’s deep Mississippi Delta roots and his mentorship under his iconic grandfather, combined with his experience touring with heavyweights like the North Mississippi Allstars and Lightnin’ Malcolm, Ford and Coppage have created a fresh take — evolving the blues while honoring its roots in the Delta and Hill Country traditions.
Stud brings an undeniable authority to the genre, while Will, a lifelong devotee of blues and roots music, delivers sharp, poetic songwriting. Hailing from Greenville, MS, a town steeped in blues history, both musicians are profoundly influenced by the Delta’s rich culture and sound.
Known for their electrifying live performances, the duo will support the release of Ain’t No Love, Ford and Coppage are hitting the road in 2025, and bringing their music to major blues festivals including Blues Rules in Crissier, Switzerland, the North Mississippi Hill Country Picnic, and the Bukka White Festival.
