American Blues Scene would proudly like to introduce Ron Beatteay, the latest contributor to our online blues publication.
Greetings,
My name is Ron Beatteay, and I’ve been invited to be a contributor here on American Blues Scene. I gotta say, I am very pleased about it and I hope that this passion of mine can help to promote great Blues, and the discovery of great Blues artists nationwide.
Up to this point I’ve been mainly shooting video; Blues video. It’s actually Blues music that inspired my evolution from photography to video. I just love capturing it all, the sound & mood in action. And when all it’s various moving parts, lights, stage, sound & audio recording, cameras and artists, are humming away nicely, the results are thrilling.
Dudley Taft has already been featured here on American Blues Scene, so I’d like to begin by adding a clip I shot that I think captures his talents as fine guitarist, a gifted and unique performer, and a great song writer. This song, “Left For Dead”, has so much swagger, and comes off the title track of his latest CD. From the Oxford Saloon, in Snohomish, Washington. I never get tired of seeing Dudley Taft… “Left For Dead”.

EXCELLENT!!!!
Great Video, I was lucky enough to see him at the Oxford, before he moved!
Would encourage everyone to check him…he is one of the best guitarists in the world in our humble opinion.
