Through the graces of Mountain Fever Records Junior Sisk shares his new single, “I Wanna Be Where You Are,” a reminder that bluegrass is not just surviving, but thriving.
This sweet ditty about missing the one you love was written by Michael Stillwell and David Stewart — recorded at Mountain Fever Studio and produced by Aaron Ramsey (2021 International Bluegrass Music Association nominee for Engineer Of The Year). Sisk is accompanied by his fine modern traditional band: Tony Mabe on banjo and harmony vocals; Jonathan Dillon on mandolin; Doug Bartlett on fiddle; Curt Love on bass; and Heather Berry Mabe, his singing partner with whom he trades verses.
Sisk is currently nominated for three 2021 International Bluegrass Music Association Awards; Male Vocalist Of The Year, Album Of The Year (Load The Wagon), and Song Of The Year “Just Load The Wagon.”
