‘Forever On My Mind’ by Son House was recorded in the fall of 1964 (ahead of 1965 “rediscovery” album) and never released. Features first-time-on-record title track “Forever On My Mind,” plus never-heard recordings of “Death Letter” and “Preachin’ Blues”

Chloe Kay was moved to write the track after Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble’s iconic drummer Chris ‘Whipper’ Layton recounted a story to her during an interview for ‘ABS’ about him and Stevie overcoming challenges together to make it in time to one of their concerts.
