New exhibits will focus heavily on the 1940’s documentation of Blues in Coahoma County and the “discovery” of Muddy Waters, showcasing his former home from Stovall Plantation.

His early performances are the stuff of myth and legend, and just dropping a needle on one of his exceptional albums will ignite the passions gathered in any given space.
“I heard rock and roll music for the first time when I was 10, and right away, it just changed everything. I heard blues for the first time when I was 12. I got the ‘Paul Butterfield Blues Band’ album, and it changed everything.”
