Michissippi Mick will be a welcome addition to any blues fan’s collection. Bringing this home is a win-win for everyone. The Blues Foundation receives donations from the sales of each disc, and blues lovers experience some outstanding blues, served up with a joyful heart.
Schofield’s playing is right on the money, with fine tone, and feel throughout. The band does an excellent job, not just backing him, but as active, integral contributors to the success of these performances.
This masterwork is the summation of a lifetime of learning and growing, and it will be held up as a fine example of everything blues can be for many years to come.
Jigsaw Heart is her latest offering, and it is a sumptuous delight. The music here is elegant and moving, incorporating elements of jazz, blues, soul, and gospel, all imbued with a subtle southern flavor and sensibility.
Set The World On Fire is an impressive debut. The album is sixty four minutes of incredible blues.
The fourteen tracks on Solid Ground give you plenty of sonic pleasure to enjoy. Castiglia and company have given us an engaging performance, and this album is a real winner.

The eleven songs here clock in at 50 minutes, so there is plenty of time to be spent with this recording. Trust us, you will want to spend time with it.
Midnight Blue is a well produced, great sounding album. Ellis and company deliver superior playing at every turn. This one is definitely a keeper.
