Like many of his generation he grew up loving roots based sounds and his first introduction to the blues was through the bands that are considered classic rock now. He has a deep love of the blues, loves to talk about it, loves to write about it and loves to watch it live on stage, with or without.a camera in his hand.
Donald “Duck” Dunn, bass player and songwriter and a member of the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame band Booker T. and the MGs and the Blues Brothers band, has passed away.

Doyle Bramhall, one of the legendary Austin drummers and a noted songwriter, passed away this morning. He was 62.
