With just over three months until the North Sea Jazz Festival returns to the Ahoy Centre in Rotterdam, the organizers have announced an additional wave of acts for the three-day event.
The Roots (plus very special guests), Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals, Tord Gustavsen featuring Simin Tander, Jasper Høiby’s Fellow Creatures, David Sanborn Acoustic Band, Nate Smith KINFOLK, Jazzmeia Horn, Moses Boyd Exodus, Mike Stern/Randy Brecker Band, Keyon Harrold, and the Ramón Valle Trio are all added to the line-up for the three day event, which takes place from July 13th – 15th.
The North Sea Jazz Festival will also play host to some of the most hotly-tipped up-and-coming acts including iconoclastic quartet Sons Of Kemet, rising star UK saxophonist Nubya Garcia, and Manchester-based leftfield piano trio GoGo Penguin, as well as energetic Norwegian nu-soul group Rohey, ground-breaking Canadian trio BADBADNOTGOOD, and jazz, grime and electronica influenced group Moses Boyd Exodus.
These acts join the likes of Earth Wind & Fire, D’Angelo, Robert Glasper, Pat Metheny, Gary Clark Jr., Ruthie Foster with Espoo Big Band, Durand Jones & The Indications, Leon Bridges, Robert Finley, and Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats on the bill for the North Sea Jazz Festival which, since its inception in 1976, has become the biggest indoor music festival in the world.
