“Be My Rock” reunites Charlie Thomas and Doc Pomus. Doc, who left this world in 1991 wrote instantly recognizable hits for The Drifters including, “Save the Last Dance for Me,” “This Magic Moment” and also penned Charlie’s famous lead on “Sweets for My Sweet.”
