Alligator Records has set a May 17 release date for ‘Hail To The Kings!,’ the dynamic new album from traditional blues innovators The Cash Box Kings.
The band is fueled by the powerhouse harmonica work of Madison, Wisconsin-based songwriter Joe Nosek, and the huge, gritty vocals of Chicago bluesman Oscar Wilson.
Danielle Nicole and the band also performed the most rocking version of Son House’s famed “Death Letter” ever, with the exception of the original, naturally.
