The music still draws deeply on the gospel quartet tradition of the ’50s and ’60s, but there’s a distinctly modern edge to the record.

Heading into the recording session for ‘Try It…You Might Like It!,’ the plan was to keep everything as true to the way Hound Dog recorded as possible.

The Freedom Affair’s ‘Freedom is Love’ album will be released on vinyl for the first time on March 12th via Sunflower Soul Records but is limited to 1,000 random colored copies.
