James deserves a lot of credit for tackling sacred tunes. One has the sense that while part of the reason is to share his interpretations of these beloved songs, another reason is to send fans back to the originals.

The big winner of the evening was Colin James, who took home awards for Electric Act of the Year, Recording/Producer of the Year and Guitarist of the Year.

Throughout the album, James showcases his versatility with smooth slide guitar, finger picking, biting leads, and grungy power chords. All are executed with the finesse and style that gives him such a great sound.
