Duncan, Miss. will soon unveil a new marker on the Mississippi Blues Trail, honoring the city’s blues legends. Eddie C. Campbell, renowned blues guitarist and singer, is one of several artists included on the marker.

As many of you know, Eddie suffered a heart attack and stroke while on tour in Germany. He is out of intensive care and stabilized. However, he is at present paralyzed on his right side.

Eddie C. Campbell is a genuine expression of West side Chicago blues, and his history and latest album, Spider Eating Preacher, from Delmark Records, leaves no doubt.
