Today in September 16, 1925, B.B. King was born in the rural Mississippi Delta. The king of the blues is 86 years young today, and still touring and entertaining crowds across the world.
In 2008, the B.B. King Museum and Delta Interpretive Center, a striking 20,000 square foot, $14 million tribute to the revered bluesman, was opened to the public with great fanfare.
